About

Lyndsay Maas lives and works in Santa Barbara, CA. She studied business administration and some accounting in school and has been putting her hard-earned knowledge to work in financial settings. In her work in the private sector, Lyndsay helped manage large investment accounts and oversaw the finances for one of the world leaders in industrial minerals mining. However, when she had the opportunity to pivot into the private sector to work for a local college, she jumped. Lyndsay is passionate about education and enjoyed being able to help support the organization to operate more efficiently to meet student needs.

When nice weekends come around, Lyndsay Maas often takes the opportunity to go camping or boating, which is one of her favorite activities. She owns and maintains her own boat, which she drives out to some of California’s nicest lakes whenever she gets the chance. The boat isn’t just for casual cruising, though. Lyndsay is always on the hunt for the best locations for exciting wakeboarding or water skiing sessions. Water sports are one of her favorite pastimes and something she loves to share with her friends and family when she has the opportunity.

Even off the water, Lyndsay Maas keeps busy and active. She is invested in her physical fitness and enjoys trail running, pilates, biking, and other workouts. Additionally, she loves learning how to do new things and maintaining her assets on her own. Lyndsay has taken the time to learn how to DIY many things around her home, maintain her boat and RV, and manage a garden. She is an incredibly determined and driven individual who enjoys the satisfaction of a job well done.

Early in her career, Lyndsay Maas worked in the private finance sector, building her skills and managing large corporate accounts. She has proven experience in managing teams, optimizing processes, and building fruitful client relationships.

After a time, however, Lyndsay Maas had the opportunity to pivot her career into the public sector, working for Santa Barbara City College. She spent three years as the Controller, then moved into a new role as the Vice President of Business Services. Her private sector skills proved invaluable as she was able to bring new ideas and perspectives into the college to help optimize processes.
